Brenda Pritchard, formerly Brenda Gallagher, started Horizon Realty Management in 2001 because she felt owners and investors needed a quality property management group that was sensitive to the needs of owners while providing superior customer service to residents. Brenda is a veteran to the industry with over 30 years of experience. Her commitment and attention to detail earned Horizon Realty Management the prestigious “Property Management Company of the Year” award in 2007. Horizon was also designated an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) by the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Ms. Pritchard has her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM and was the 2009 President of the Florida Apartment Association. She also serves on numerous boards and committees for the National Apartment Association, the Florida Apartment Association, the First Coast Apartment Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
Brenda's leadership and commitment to excellence is evident in her team, from the Regional Managers down to the on-site Leasing professionals. She is known by her peers for her integrity and for raising the bar of professionalism within the industry. In the last 10 years, Brenda has developed three different “Property Managers of the Year” and three “Assistant Property Managers of the Year” as leaders of the apartment industry.
Brenda's talents have been expanded into new product development as well. She consulted on a number of new development projects for The Development Group. Her role was to provide direction on floor plans, club house design, and site planning. Through Brenda's assistance, The Development Group achieved the following awards:

Beth Carozza brings over 25 years of Property Management experience to the Horizon team. She has overseen the day to day operations of assets including luxury communities, affordable communities, Commercial and Retail assets and Condominium Communities. Beth has also overseen several successful multi-million dollar renovations and re-positioning of these assets to meet and exceed owner and investor objectives.
In the affordable arena Beth has expert knowledge of LIHTC, SAIL, MMRB and County Bond programs. Beth participated in Annual Compliance Training workshops and participated in several round table workshops to review and provide guidelines on compliance topics, both sponsored by Florida Housing Finance Corporation. Beth was instrumental in customizing of compliance forms to meet LURA requirements and company objectives and approved final formats. (This company is still using these forms today). Beth also created and implemented an extensive step by step policy and procedure manual for Affordable Housing assets and was responsible for compliance training for all employees to ensure proper procedures and compliance with various programs.
With a an average of over 40 employees under her supervision, Beth has been able to consistently select the right teams, is very active in training, implementation of policy and procedures and inspires her teams to succeed.
Kelly has over 14 years of experience in property management. She is a licensed member of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors (NEFAR), and has a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing. Kelly leads the commercial leasing for Horizon and during a recessed economy increased occupancy by 17%. She represents the owner in all lease negotiations, including terms, rents, etc... Kelly provides support to human resources including, personnel, project scheduling, employee relations and public relations.
Alejandro has over seven years of corporate accounting experience and a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He has also completed all the educational requirements to take the Florida Certified Public Accountant Exam. He is currently the accountant for seven apartment communities, four condominium associations and one commercial property. Alejandro joined Horizon in 2014 after his retirement from the Armed Forces after 24 years of service as Master Chief Petty Officer.
Heather has over 18 years of experience with a BA in Psychology. She began her career in the home building industry. Heather worked with national homebuilders across the country, creating their marketing platforms and training personnel. She has brought new and best practices to our industry, changing the way we approach marketing and leasing. Heather has also been nationally recognized and published in 2013. Under Heather's direction Horizon won Best Marketing Concept of 2013.
Ron Azard has been in the industry for over 25 years. He successfully completed the Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) I & II certification at New York University. He has obtained the nationally recognized Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) certification administered by Quadel Consulting. Ron is Microsoft Accredited as a Microsoft Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Network Engineer (MCSE), and Microsoft Solution Developer (MCSD).
