Local Real Estate Management Firm Earns Professional Accreditation
On February 1, 2010- Brenda Gallagher, President of Horizon Realty Management, received the
designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management
(IREM) of the National Association of Realtors. The designation is considered to be among the
industry's premier real estate management credentials. A CPM designation means that
Horizon Realty Management is lead by a person who has experience, knowledge of the real
estate industry, management expertise, and financial acumen. Candidates are trained to
analyze a property's physical and fiscal performance, implement policies and procedures to
enhance short and long-term property values, and to learn how to market, retain and improve
tenant, resident and employee relations. In addition to Brenda Gallagher’s training, she had to
complete a rigorous ethics course, and agree to abide by IREM's Code of Ethics and REIC's
Code of Professional Standards.
